Human Resources

This section looks after the management of human resources for the day to day operations of the hospital. Human Resources are procured on regular employment basis, contractual employment basis and through Outsource services. Regular employees’ recruitment, promotion and disciplinary action etc. are managed by the Human Resources Section. This department is working on home developed human resource management tool. This section is also responsible for arrangement of in-house training programme as well as deputing employees for appropriate training outside the Institute. General administrative procedures are also looked after by this department.

Information Technology

The Information Technology department at SSHH is enabler for better patient services. Provides ITC enabled services for patients and administration. IT enabled HELP LINE, File request system and Complains registration systems for Patients, Maintenance request system for internal users

IT Department is focused on adaption of latest technologies., Network security through firewall and antivirus , Data security through access control, Data protection through data backups and restore procedures, License compliance, Hospital Information Management System.

IT Department maintains network up time. User support functions, Trouble shooting, monitoring of Internet Bandwidth utilization, provides secure connectivity to remote locations through VPN and Secure site to site tunnels with auto failover facility.

Library

Library is the academic nerve center of the institute. It caters to the need of user with its resources. The regular and selective addition of books and journals to this library has enriched its collection and made it a good reference center particularly in the field of Cardiac.

Library is well equipped with audio-visual aids and separate air-conditioned computer lab with broadband internet facility. Staffs can access online journals and books which are subscribed by the library.

Medical Record

This section is responsible for providing day to day issues of patient’s case registration, patient’s admission and discharge procedures, issue of various certificates to the patients like travel pass, patient’s reimbursement forms etc.

Pharmacy

About medicines are dispensed from this department. The Pharmacy Computers are linked with all Hospital Management software to know the day today availability stock of medicines in pharmacy & Respected Wards.

Store & Purchase

This section is responsible for the complete inventory management of the Institute. This section receives requirement from the different departments, follows procurement process of inviting tenders, fixing up rate contracts, preparing purchase orders, purchase agreements, managing stocks after receipt of the goods, maintain on time supply to the concerned departments etc.
