This is the story of Mustaq, a 45 year old labourer and head of a family of 8. His heart problem came as a bolt from the blue ! The income of Rs.3000/-  a month was obviously too meagre for  treatment of such a major health problem such as this. When the breadwinner of the family ails, the family is bound to be shattered! Mustaq was fortunate to reach the Udaipur Camp where his condition was diagnosed and he was subsequently operated at Sri Sathya Sai Heart Hospital, Rajkot, on 14.07.2015 & started living a healthy life, once again supporting his family. Mustaq and his family are thankful to Swami for the Udaipur camp and Sri Sathya Sai Heart Hospital, Rajkot, which gave him a fresh lease of life.

The story of Kuldeep, prior to the treatment here, was rather a sad one. He was detected with a heart problem at the young age of 28. His monthly income was Rs.12,000/- per month, in a processing mill in Surat, at that point. The doctors in a private hospital in Surat suggested a ‘Bental Procedure’ surgery costing Rs 3 to 4 lakhs. This expensive treatment was beyond the reach of Young Kuldip, who had an additional responsibility of 3 more members. The information about the Sai hospital from his co-worker made his Uttarayan extra special. On the divine day of  9th Jan Kuldip got operated at Sai Hospital, Rajkot, absolutely FREE OF COST.

54 years old Shri Sushila Soni from Jodhpur was suffering from a heart ailment. The cost of its surgery was more than a lakh and the family income, unfortunately, was just Rs. 5,000/- a month! The family heard of the SSS Heart Hospital from a relative and she was immediately brought to one of the Udaipur camps. After a free Heart check up at the Udaipur Camp, Sushila was operated at Sri Sathya Sai Heart Hospital, Rajkot, on 03.09.2016, totally free of cost, thus getting a new lease of life.

One can see the innocence and the charming smile on baby Sandhya’s face. She was detected with a heart  problem a few days back which was a jolt worse than the quake at Bhachau. Her parents could not even think of spending the huge amount needed for the surgery. Three year old doll Jhalak was the HEART of the family of 7. The irony was that she was suffering from a congenital HEART problem. The family could not afford the surgery cost. The Mumbai camp was the saviour. She got operated on 10.10.16 at Sri Sathya Sai Heart hospital,Rajkot and the household rejoiced!!
